These terms cover the websites, hosting, plans, branding and custom builds that getPresented. (we, us) provides to you. We've written them in plain English. If something here isn't clear, ask us before you go ahead.
Before any work begins we'll confirm in writing (by WhatsApp or email) what you're getting and what it costs. That message, together with these terms, is our agreement. Anything outside it, like extra pages, new features or a redesign, is quoted separately.
Live covers hosting, domain management and up to 2 changes a month by message. Fresh covers everything in Live, plus unlimited everyday changes, a monthly message on how your site is doing, seasonal check-ins and a yearly check-up with a refresh of your flyer, card or menu.
Some bundles include a period of Fresh-level service. When it ends you carry on with Live unless you choose to upgrade.
You confirm you have the right to use the text, photos, logos and other material you give us, and that what you ask us to publish is accurate and lawful. You stay responsible for things like prices, claims, qualifications and opening hours on your site. We may decline to publish anything misleading, unlawful or offensive.
Once you've paid for it, you own the content and branding we create for you. We may show the finished site or branding in our portfolio unless you ask us not to. We keep ownership of our own tools, templates and working methods.
We register and manage your domain on your behalf. If you leave, we'll transfer it to you for a one-off £17 handover fee, provided your account is up to date, and give you a copy of your site files on request.
Most of our customers are businesses. If you're buying for personal rather than business use, you have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of agreeing to buy. Because we start work straight away at your request, if you cancel in that period you'll pay for the work already done up to that point.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited, such as for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Otherwise, we're not liable for lost profits or other indirect losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
How we handle personal information is explained in our privacy policy.
If we change these terms we'll update this page and the date at the top. For anything significant, we'll tell existing clients directly. The terms in force when you buy apply to your purchase.
These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland, and any dispute will be dealt with by the Scottish courts.
Email us and we'll get back to you, usually within a day.
